Breast Augmentation in Monterrey with Dr. Valdés
Achieve natural volume, balance and confidence with expert hands and an honest approach

What is breast augmentation?
Breast augmentation is a surgical procedure designed to enhance the size, shape, and projection of the breasts. It can be performed using two main techniques: silicone implants, which provide long-lasting volume and a well-defined shape, or fat transfer (lipotransfer), which uses the patient’s own body fat for a more subtle and natural enhancement.
Each option offers unique advantages, and Dr. Valdés will help you choose the most appropriate approach based on your anatomy, long-term goals, and aesthetic vision, always prioritizing safe and natural-looking results.
The surgery lasts approximately one hour and is performed under local anesthesia with sedation. It is an outpatient procedure, so hospitalization is not required. Recovery time is about 7 days, and final results are typically visible within 3 months.

Benefits of breast augmentation
When done with care and precision, breast augmentation offers a wide range of benefits that go beyond physical volume. For many patients, this surgery becomes a way to regain confidence, improve body balance and feel at peace on the skin.
Restored or improved breast volume and projection
Many women experience a loss of volume or flatness in the upper part of the breast. Implants can restore fullness and improve the projection of the upper pole, resulting in a more youthful and proportionate shape.
Improving body proportions and balance
Breast augmentation helps create a more balanced silhouette and often improves the contrast between the waist and hips and improves the way clothing fits and feels.
Correction of asymmetries or congenital differences
Implants allow for a subtle and personalized correction of natural asymmetries, giving patients the confidence that visual harmony provides.

We're here to help. Send us your questions and our team will answer clearly and carefully. Your comfort, safety and peace of mind are important to us.
How long do breast implants last?
Most modern implants last 10 to 20 years, but they don't need to be replaced unless there's a reason, such as a complication, a change in lifestyle, or a personal desire to change size or shape. Dr. Valdés monitors results over time and will guide you if you ever need a review.
Is the procedure painful?
The experience varies depending on the patient, but the discomfort is usually described as muscle pressure or pain. Dr. Valdés uses regional anesthesia and refined surgical techniques to minimize pain, and most patients do well with oral medications for a few days.
Will the scars be visible?
The incisions are placed in discrete areas, usually under the breast fold, and are kept as small as possible. With proper care, most scars fade considerably over time and become nearly invisible.
Can I breastfeed after surgery?
In most cases, yes. Breast implants don't interfere with the galactophore ducts, especially when placed under the muscle. Even so, Dr. Valdés will discuss your future family plans during the consultation to ensure that the surgical plan meets your needs.
How do I choose the right size?
There is no universal “ideal” size; it's all about what fits your body and your goals. Dr. Valdés will guide you through implant options, using measurements, images and conversations to find the size that enhances your figure without compromising natural aesthetics.
