Butt Augmentation in Monterrey with Dr. Valdés
Whether due to genetics, weight loss, or aging, some people may feel that their buttocks lack volume, projection, or harmony with the rest of their body. Butt augmentation can enhance the silhouette, improve symmetry and regain self-confidence.

What is butt augmentation?
Buttock augmentation is a surgical procedure designed to improve the shape, volume, and contour of the buttocks. There are two main techniques used to achieve this:
Fat transfer (Brazilian Butt Lift): Liposuction is performed to remove fat from areas such as the abdomen, flanks, or thighs. The fat is then purified and carefully reinjected into specific layers of the buttocks to increase projection and contour.
Buttock implants: Silicone implants are placed beneath the gluteal muscle, typically used in patients who don’t have enough fat for transfer or who want a more pronounced result.
In many cases, fat transfer alone can achieve elegant, harmonious results. Dr. Valdés will help you determine which technique best suits your anatomy, goals, and safety profile.

Benefits of transferring fat to the hips and buttocks
True improvement doesn't have to do with size, but with proportion, posture and self-expression. Here's what butt augmentation can offer:
Body balance and recovered proportions
A well-performed butt augmentation can better balance the entire lower body, especially when combined with the circumference of the waist or flanks.
Better volume projection
The procedure can increase volume and projection in a way that feels and looks natural, especially with fat transfer. It creates a more youthful and defined silhouette, especially when viewed from the side or in profile.
A redefined look
When combined with liposuction of the waist, flanks or thighs, the contrast between the torso and hips is improved, creating a more feminine, curvaceous or athletic appearance depending on your objectives.

What happens to the fat after it is transferred?
After the transfer, some of the fat cells are reabsorbed by the body; this is normal. In general, between 60 and 80% of the fat survives and becomes a permanent part of the gluteal tissue. The final result stabilizes around 3 to 6 months after the operation.
Is the procedure painful?
Mild to moderate discomfort is common, especially in liposuctioned areas. Patients often describe the feeling as pain or tightness. The pain is well controlled with medication and gradually subsides during the first week.
Will I have to have surgery again in the future?
If the grease is well maintained, no. However, weight fluctuations, aging, or lifestyle changes can affect results. Some patients opt for small touch-ups years later, especially if major body changes occur.
Can very thin patients continue to undergo this procedure?
It depends. Dr. Valdés evaluates whether you have enough donor fat for a successful transfer. In some cases, you may recommend gaining weight beforehand or considering implants as an alternative if fat transfer isn't feasible.
